The dipping mercury brings respite from the heat, but the air quality worsens, emblematic of India’s struggle with relentless pollution, leading to a rising incidence of asthmatic problems in children and chronic obstructive pulmonary diseases (COPD) among senior citizens. The most common forms of these diseases include chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), asthma, occupational lung diseases and pulmonary hypertension. As per WHO estimates, every year COPD is the cause of 6% of deaths globally. Our focus with our product portfolio is on improving the quality of life of patients suffering from debilitating respiratory diseases and enabling them to maintain a more independent life. This global disease burden has given rise to the clinical need for developments of delivery systems and tools aimed at the efficient prevention and treatment of these respiratory diseases.
